My mom is 89 and living on her own in NY. she is for the most part healthy although she is starting to forget some things.<br /><br />I was trying to get her to move closer to us in North Carolina but she refuses. 		<content type="html"><![CDATA[The one area that I probably struggle the most with is control.&nbsp; Not that I seek to control others but I certainly like to be in control of my own life.&nbsp; But as you stated, I can only control what is within my ability to control.&nbsp; And sometimes I know that my lesson in certain situations is to lean on/trust others (a tough thing to do when one is as independent and stubborn as I am).&nbsp; But I'm learning!<BR><BR>My boyfriend has been a general contractor for the past 20 years.&nbsp; He has decided that he doesn't enjoy working for the public anymore (too many times of not getting paid&nbsp;what he is owed at the end of the job)&nbsp;and the economy can't support him building houses on speculation so he is trying his hand at foreign currency trading.&nbsp; He practiced with a demo account for 4 months before going live.&nbsp; While practicing on the demo account he did exceptionally well, making a ridiculous amount of money on a very consistent basis.&nbsp; Unfortunately, the live account works a bit differently even though the company swears that all of the features are identical.&nbsp; I know he can make a great living trading currency.&nbsp; I just have to remain positive while he's figuring out the quirks of the live account.&nbsp; You know that control thing you mentioned earlier <img src="http://thesecondphase.com/emoticons/smile.png" border="0" />&nbsp; <BR><BR>By the way, have you read the book <EM>Who Moved My Cheese</EM>?&nbsp; It's a great book, one of those that you can go back to and read again when needed.<BR><BR>]]></content>
